I had the best hash browns here. The service was awesome and the place has that old school feel that I love.

The food was great! Nothing pretentious, but you feel like you're going back in time, to the late 1920's. We had a Reuben sandwich and a bagel and lox platter. They were both reasonably priced and delicious. The location is right across the street from the Chicago cultural Center (was the Chicago Public Library, which is free and has an INCREDIBLE interior, complete with a Tiffany glass dome. It is also located a block from Millennium Park. The staff is friendly and attentive. Check it out!

Perfect classic diner for breakfast. We were seated quickly and staff were nice. Food came quickly, hot and large portions. Menu has everything you would want for breakfast or lunch. It was a great, hardy way to start the day. There were also healthier options available as well. Prices were great as well for the heart of Chicago.

Came in for late breakfast or early lunch a few days ago. Got a coke and spicy bacon cheddar skillet. The food is good diner food. I think what makes it special is that it's a restaurant in a skyscraper. Sometimes on the news they interview people in diners. Think it would be neat if they interviewed customers in here and listened to their thoughts on topics of the day. The skillet has jalapenos in it so you get little kicks of spice but it's not overly spicy.
